Mitchell is currently serving on the board for Mid-Iowa Planned Giving Council in Des Moines, IA. Mitchell grew up on a farm in DeWitt, Iowa. He attended the University of Northern Iowa majoring in Economics. Mitchell enjoys running marathons and participating in triathlons. In July 2009, he earned the title “Ironman” after completing the Lake Placid, NY Ironman USA. Mitchell enjoys spending time with his two children, Addison and Mason. Mitchell also enjoys hunting and fishing.
