Frank DeMarco came to First Heartland Financial with a rich background of over 35 years in the Life and Health Insurance industries. Prior to working with First Heartland Financial Group, Frank worked with Northwestern Mutual Life as a wealth accumulation advisor and insurance specialist. In 1991 Frank purchased American Administrators, broadening his practice to employee benefits from both small and large group accounts. Frank grew American Administrators, expanding the business with offices in Iowa, Kentucky and Texas. Becoming a member of the First Heartland Financial team gives Frank an opportunity to leverage his vast insurance background into the most current strategies for his clients.
Frank grew up in Des Moines, graduating from Dowling Catholic, then the University of Iowa. He lives in Clive with his wife, Mary. They have three grown children, Alex, Louis, and Gianna. Frank serves on the Board of the New Pioneer Clay Target Center and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Shoot for a Cure held each June. In his spare time Frank enjoys target shooting, boating, golf and classic cars. He is passionate about teaching gun safety and shooting mechanics, especially regarding Skeet shooting where he has been named to the Iowa State Skeet Association’s State Team every year since 1985.
